I was shocked to discover the shower in our room lacked basic amenities like proper water pressure. Definitely not what you expect in Venice! The hotel's decor felt, how do I put this politely, simply outdated? And woudl it have killed them to provide a complimentary pastries at breakfast? I almost considered a good review but just couldn’t.

casa nicolo was a delightful surprise! this was my second visit to venice, and the hotel's classic decor with a modern touch really exceeded my expectations. the large smart tv was a hit with my daughter, and the staff helped us organize excursions seamlessly.

the staff was phenomenal, super friendly and helped us so much. they even changed our room to ground floor when my wife hurt her knee which was really kind. the location is perfect for all main attractions and great food places. loved our room with canal view, so nice sitting there. also, the breakfast was decent to start our day exploring venice.

the hotel had some small issues like a musty smell in the hallways and no lift which made carrying bags challenging.

The staff provided excellent assistance during our stay, going above and beyond to help us with unexpected problems. I particularly appreciated the lovely city view from our room, which made our mornings brighter. Breakfast was simple yet satisfying, offering just the right start to our busy days exploring.

Our room had a slight musty smell which was a bit off-putting at times.

The hotel is in a fantastic spot, just a short stroll to the Bridge of Sighs, and the room we got was spacious and perfect for our family. The staff went the extra mile, arranging our gondola ride right from the hotel's entrance!

In my wife's opinion, a few more dessert options would have been nice during breakfast.

Charming stay with a canal view

We stayed in a room with a beautiful canal view and a cozy balcony! Breakfast at the bar was lovely, just what we needed for starting our days. The only hiccup was a bit of noise from the street outside in the mornings. Still, the staff made everything so smooth!

The vibe here is pure Venetian luxury, and our room was spotless with an amazing terrace overlooking the canal. I loved lounging in the garden area and soaking up the sun while sipping some coffee. Just a heads up, though—having to buy extra coffee for the room felt a tad stingy! 😊

Our room was gorgeous with a direct canal entrance—no stairs! The staff were wonderfully helpful, handling our water taxi like pros. Plus, the beautiful decor added a lovely vibe to our stay.

Just a heads up, the reception ghosts do tend to disappear at night. Not ideal if you're keen on friendly faces when you're locked out!

It was just a strong match for a city trip in Venice with very good value for money. The breakfast included plenty of options like cereals and fresh fruits, which made mornings enjoyable. Make sure to check the tourist tax details at checkout to avoid surprises.
